Why not .. brunch?
Have mom over (or go to her) and prepare a brunch that she'll always remember. Here are some of our favorite recipes and pairings to help you say thanks!
Pepperjack Scramble over Cornbread
A recent recipe among us!
Eggs Scramble:
3 tablespoons of butter
4 eggs
1/2 cup of Pepperjack cheese, grated (adjust to your taste)
Salt to taste
Beat eggs in a bowl. Melt butter in your pan/skillet. Throw eggs in, scramble. As eggs become less runny, bring in cheese, and continue scrambling until eggs and cheese are one melted mess. Transfer to corn bread slices (recipe below) and serve!
Here's a great Buttermilk Cornbread recipe from our friends at Whole Foods Market!
Or maybe you're looking for something a little sweeter?
These Dried Cranberry, Walnut and Lemon Scones from Epicurious.com will compliment a Goat Cheese and Zucchini Frittata or a Smoked Salomon Frittata (both from Whole Foods Market too!).
Most importantly, don't forget dessert!

Serve up a trio of sorbets for a light finish (we suggest, Cabernet, Rose and Champagne); whip up a special Rose Parfait or pair your favorite sorbet with a cake!
Cheers to Mom and you!
Spritz up your mimosa or bellini by dropping a scoop of Champagne in it.

Or serve up a Virgin Mimosa to the whole family:
2 parts seltzer
1 part orange juice
2 scoops Champagne sorbet
Serve in a champagne flute for a special presentation!
